How does Reiki healing work?

PREPARING FOR THE SESSION:

  1. Nid will email you to confirm the healing time & day (your time zone & hers)

  2. There is NO video or audio conversation for this session. You must be alone and undisturbed for the duration of the session.

  3. Relax and set your intention to receive healing for the session. Try to meditate or witness your thoughts. You can set a timer but your will find your body naturally comes out at the agreed end time.

  4. At the end of your session, gently continue with your day. Drink plenty of water & go gently with yourself. You may feel emotional or slightly different balance after the healing, be kind to yourself with this. 

  5. Nid will send you a link to the healing recording for you to listen to and continue to receive the healing energies each time you listen to it. Nid will contact you with any guidance for post-healing and suggestions for you to take care of yourself.

DURING THE SESSION IT OFTEN FEELS DEEPLY RELAXING AND YOU MAY DRIFT TO SLEEP.

  • At the agreed time for your session make sure that you are comfortable to sit or lie down with enough privacy for the duration of your session.

  • Physical sensations are usually a change of body temperature as energy moves and is released.

  • You might feel tingling in body parts as energy shifts.

  • Emotions can be stirred and move through you too.

  • Stomach gurgling is a favourite sound in the healing space.

WHAT IS REIKI?
